The Copy Appearances dialog will show all of the Appearance Elements for the selected object’s Object State that will be copied:

This list will vary depending on elements you have set up for the Object State.

Tick the checkbox beside the name of the Appearance Elements that you want to copy. By default all elements are ticked.
