Once you have created your text you can format and edit it in the standard way familiar to anyone who has used a word processor.
Note:
Text is automatically Anti-aliased to give a smoother effect. The formatting and editing of text applies to both text objects, that is, the Text and Text Input tools and the text that is displayed in the Button object.
Tip:
Creator is not as sophisticated at handling text as a dedicated word processor. It is also a graphical program therefore typing can be slowed down by the effort to redraw your graphical page. You may therefore prefer to prepare large amounts of text in a dedicated word processor and cut and paste it into Creator or use the Import Text option. Alternatively you may wish to hide temporarily hide all the other elements of your page while you type, using the Show Selected option.
1: Click on the text object to select it.
2: Choose the formatting you require from the Format toolbar, or choose the colour you require from the colour palette.
1: Click on the text box to select it if it is not already selected.

3: Drag the mouse across the piece of text you wish to format so that it is highlighted.
4: Choose the formatting you require from the format toolbar, or choose the colour you require from the colour palette.
Note:
This process will also work with objects in the Notes View.
For examples of the effect formatting has on text see Formatted Text examples for more information.
