Alias name - definition

The Additional Resources tab in the Publication Properties dialog allows you to set an Alias name for any resource used in your publication. A resource may be for example a sound, image or video file. The alias name can be used in a script as a shortcut method of referring to the resource.

For example, if you have an image resource named business_graphic_01.png that is in a sub-folder named Images of your publication folder – you could create an alias for it e.g. bsnGraph. In your script you could then refer to bsnGraph instead of having to write the full pathname and filename for the image.

Search for Additional Resources in the main Opus Help file for more information.
