Script Object window

The Script Object window appears whenever you add a Script Object to a page. This window is used to type your script using the OpusScript programming language.

The Script Object window is made up of three sections:

  1. The Script Object Toolbar – a set of tools to help you add OpusScript functions to your script or to save/copy your script as an external file.

  2. The Script Editor pane – the pane in which you type your script. Opus provides a number of features to help you type your script and distinguish different parts of your code by colour.

  3. The Error Message pane – if the syntax of your script is incorrect, a message will appear in the Error Message pane.

Note:
Many of the features provided in the Script Object window also are available in the simpler Script Editor pane that appears when you add a Script action.
