When you have created an Autonarration for a Text object on a page in your publication it will automatically begin to play when the text box is displayed on a page. If you want, you can repeat the Autonarration or have it only play when you want it to, for example, by the user pressing a button. You can also stop an Autonarration that is currently playing.
By default, an Autonarration will play automatically, so in fact, you do not have to change anything for the Autonarration to play when the Text object is displayed.
Select the Text object containing the Autonarration on the page,
Select Edit Autonarrate from the Text menu at the top of the Opus Editor.
Untick the Auto Start option, then click the OK button to save your changes.
Create an object on the page that the user presses to play or repeat the Autonarration. For example, create a Button object on the page.
In the objects Actions tab add a Left Mouse Click trigger. For example, if you created a button, the trigger is added to the button.
Add a Play Autonarrate action to the trigger – see Play Autonarrate action for more information.
Create an object on the page that the user presses to stop the Autonarration. For example, create a Button object on the page.
In the objects Actions tab add a Left Mouse Click trigger. For example, if you created a button, the trigger is added to the button.
Add a Stop Autonarrate action to the trigger – see Stop Autonarrate action for more information.
