When you create a publication in Opus, the pages of your publication will appear on your desktop either full screen or as a window that floats on top of other windows on your desktop. This is known as the Main Publication window.

With Opus, you can have other windows appear on the desktop alongside the Main Publication window. For example, you may want extra windows to show more detailed information on a subject or show a list of extra options and settings, etc.

The extra windows are created using the Windows tab in the Chapter’s Properties dialog. In the Windows tab you can change the size of the page, show a title bar, position the location of the window on the page, and much more.
