When you click the Insert Variable button in the Delete this file panel the following list of preset variables will appear:

These variables only contain the path to a directory and not to an individual filename.

You must add the filename to the end of the variable as illustrated below. Be careful to remember to put the \ character in:

In this example, the system will work out the path where the current publication has been installed on the computer and produce the following pathname e.g. C:\HistoryQuiz\results.txt

Note: If the publication is running from a CD-ROM you will not be able to delete files because you cannot delete files from a CD.
