The Add Scroll Actions option in the QuickBuild menu allows you to automatically add scrolling actions to a Text object or a Button object on the current page. Creator will automatically add the Scroll actions to the object’s Actions Organiser – see Introducing the Text actions for more information.
The Scroll actions added to the selected object allow the user to press the following keys on the keyboard to scroll through the text:

| Up key | Text scrolled up one line at a time. |
| Down key | Text scrolled down one line at a time. |
| Page Up key | Text scrolled up one page at a time. A page is taken to mean the amount on view in the object frame. |
| Page Down key | Text scrolled down one page at a time. |
| Home key | Text scrolled to the top line of text in the object. |
| End key | Text scrolled to the bottom line of text in the object. |
Note:
The Scroll actions can ONLY be added to Text and Button objects. If you want to add visible scrollbars to an object (e.g. Text, Image, Frame objects) use the Horizontal Scrollbar 
and Vertical Scrollbar 
buttons on the Tools toolbar – see Adding Scrollbars to Objects for more information.
Select the Text object or Button object on the current page to which you want to add Scroll actions – the bounding box will surround the object.
Select Text from the QuickBuild menu – a sub-menu will appear beside the Text option. Select Add scroll actions from the sub-menu.
Note:
Alternatively, right mouse click over the object to open the right-click menu and select Add scroll actions from the QuickBuild sub-menu.
The Scroll actions are added to the object’s Actions organiser. When the user opens the page, they can use the keys on the keyboard to scroll up and down the text in the objects in which this option has been added.
Note:
Just like any action, you can edit these actions. However, the Add scroll actions option is a shortcut method of adding Scroll actions to a text box or button – thus you will most likely keep the default settings.
Note:
If you use the Add scroll actions option on more than one object on the page then the text in each object is scrolled when the user presses an appropriate key. For example, if you have two text objects on a page named Text1 and Text2 and the Add scroll actions option has been applied to both Text objects, then if the user presses the Down key on the keyboard both Text1 and Text2 will scroll to the next line.
